NOTE:

Prerequisites
1. Remove the
base
cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the
memory
modules.
4. Remove the
coin-cell
battery.
5. Remove the
solid-state drive/Intel Optane memory
6. Remove the
hard
drive.
7. Remove the fan.
8. Remove the
I/O
board.
9. Remove the speakers.
10. Remove the
power-adapter
11. Remove the
wireless
card.
12. Remove the
display
assembly.
13. Remove the
system
board.
NOTE:
The system board can be removed and installed together with the heat sink attached, when replacing the
palm-rest assembly.
14. Remove the touchpad.
Procedure
After performing the steps in prerequisites, we are left with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
