1. automatische abschaltung nach dem aufkochen.
Für ihre Bequemlichkeit, sicherheit und in Zwecken der energieeinsparung
schaltet sich ihr Wasserkocher nach dem aufkochen des Wassers automa-
tisch ab.
2. schutz vor dem einschalten eines leeren Wasserkochers.
Wenn sie zufällig den Wasserkocher einschalten sollten, wenn er leer ist,
wird er sich automatisch ausschalten, um eine Beschädigung des Heizele-
ments zu verhindern. in einem solchen Fall sollten sie abwarten, bis sich der
Wasserkocher etwas abgekühlt hat, bevor sie wieder Wasser eingießen.
3. Automatische Abschaltung bei Überhitzung.
Im Falle einer Überhitzung wird sich der Wasserkocher automatisch ab-
schalten und damit eine Beschädigung des Heizelements verhindern. Wenn
dies passiert ist, wenden sie sich bitte an ein servicezentrum.

• Schalten Sie den Wasserkocher vor der Reinigung vom Stromnetz ab und
überzeugen sie sich davon, dass er sich vollständig abgekühlt hat.
ACHTUNG!
tauchen sie den Wasserkocher, die Basis, das stromkabel und die steckga-
bel niemals in Wasser oder in andere Flüssigkeiten.
kesselsteinbeseitigung
Mineralische Stoffe, die im Leitungswasser enthalten sind, können zu einer
Bildung von Rückständen auf den inneren Oberflächen des Wasserkochers
führen.
1. Um den Kesselstein zu entfernen, gießen Sie in den Wasserkocher 1 Tas-
se weißen essig und füllen sie den Wasserkocher danach mit Wasser bis
zur Höchstmarkierung. Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher über Nacht stehen.
NICHT AUFKOCHEN!
2. gießen sie die lösung aus dem Wasserkocher ab. Füllen sie den Was-
serkocher mit reinem Wasser, kochen sie es auf und gießen sie das Wasser
ab. Wiederholen sie diese Prozedur noch einmal, wonach der Wasserkocher
wieder betriebsbereit sein wird.

Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using the kettle
as well as any other electrical appliances. Please read these instructions
carefully before using your kettle. to avoid personal injury or damage to
property, please follow the recommendations carefully.
• this appliance must not be used for anything other than its intended pur-
pose.
• the outside surface will get very hot during use. always hold the handle
when the kettle is filled with hot water. Please take great care when
handling your kettle.
• do not switch the kettle with open lid in order to avoid an injury or ha-
zardous situations. do not open the lid when the kettle is operating.
• Place your kettle on a stable, horizontal and level surface.
• Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flamma-
ble liquids or fumes.
• do not operate the appliance in damp or wet locations. this appliance
must not be placed on or near any objects that heat up (such as a gas or
electric hob). Keep it away from the direct sunlight.
• do not use the appliance if the mains lead or extension cord is damaged
or overloaded.
• always make sure the appliance is off before you unplug it or before clea-
ning.
• in order to avoid electrical shock hazard, do not touch the plug by wet
hand. When removing the plug from the wall socket hold it by the body.
• ensure that the mains cord of the kettle is kept away from the surfaces
which can damage it, do not kink the mains cord and never place inappro-
