− Empty the dust container into a rubbish bin.
− Clean the coarse and dust fi lter plus dust container regularly under running
water. It is not necessary to clean with water each time. Do not put the dust
container into a dishwasher!
− Reinsert the fi lters once the dust container and fi lters are dry again.
− Place the dust container on the motor base by fi rst placing it on the locking lug
under the motor block and then folding shut until the unlock button audibly
latches into place.

Improperly assembling the fi lter and dust container can cause
damage to the fl oor vacuum cleaner.
− Make sure the dust container fi lters are correctly installed
before use.
Cleaning the suction openings of the fl oor vacuum
cleaner
Dirt and dust may accumulate around the suction openings of the fl oor vacuum
cleaner after some time, which may reduce the suction power. To prevent this, the
suction openings should be cleaned at regular intervals.
− Switch the appliance off. Remove the handheld vacuum cleaner from the
housing.
− Remove dirt and dust from the suction openings of the fl oor vacuum cleaner,
fl oor tool, suction tube on the fl oor vacuum cleaner as well as the crevice tool and
upholstery brush.
Cleaning the brush and fl oor tool
You can remove the brush of the fl oor tool
− Push the locking bar
fl oor tool and remove the bar. (Fig. E)
− Take off the brush, remove coarse fl uff and clean the brush under running water.
− After drying, reinsert the brush in the reverse order and secure the locking bar.
− Then reassemble the fl oor vacuum cleaner as described above.
