connection from the Blu-ray Disc player.
Check the settings of HDMI Audio Output in System Settings.
When HDMI Audio Output is set to HDMI2, check the connection of the HDMI OUT 2 jack on
the Blu-ray Disc player and make sure that the connected device is turned on.
To output sound from a TV, connect the TV to the HDMI OUT 1 jack of the Blu-ray Disc player

Questions and answers
Is there any way to bypass Cinavia Protection? I was recently watching a DVD+R copy of a standard DVD I had ripped on my computer and burned from Freemake, and about 1/2 hour into the movie the sound went off and the TV screen displayed a message "Audio output temporarily muted. Do not adjust playback volume. The content being played is protected by Cinavia and is not authorized for playback on this device." (This is the first time I've had this alert; is it just with movies/TV shows from certain studios?)
Bypassing Cinavia protection on a Sony UBP-X700 is not supported. Cinavia is an anti-piracy technology that prevents unauthorized playback of protected audio and video content. The player is designed to detect and enforce these restrictions, and there is no official method to disable or bypass it.
