Using Preset Menu

Touch and hold the preset list you want to edit.

Select the desired option.
• Tune: plays the selected frequency.
• Save: overwrites frequency listening to currently.
• Delete: deletes frequency.
Traffic Announcement
Touch

The "TA" indicator lights up and the unit switches to standby mode
for the traffic announcement.
When the traffic announcement is received, the "TP" indicator lights
up and the unit switches to the radio source screen to receive it.
• The "TP" indicator lights up during standby mode off in a condition
other than radio source to indicate that the unit is receiving the
traffic announcement.
• Press the [TA OFF] button in the popup window to turn TA off.
You can also press the
screen to toggle the TA feature ON/OFF.
Dynamic Range Control (DRC)
This feature allows users to reduce the volume of loud sounds or
amplify quiet sounds thus reducing or compressing an audio signal's
dynamic range.

Check the [DRC] box to turn the feature on.
When DRC is turned on, the "DRC" indicator will be lit up.

Setting the DAB Antenna ON/OFF
You can choose whether to supply power to DAB Antenna
Connector by this setting. Confirm the type of DAB Antenna (sold
separately) before installing the DAB antenna. If an active antenna
that needs power supply from this unit is used, set DAB Antenna
Power to On; if a passive antenna that does not need power supply
from this unit is used, make sure to set DAB Antenna Power to Off,
otherwise, a malfunction may occur.

Check the [DAB Antenna] box to turn the feature
on.
• Off (initial setting): When no DAB Antenna is connected or
the connected DAB Antenna does not need power supply
from this unit.
• On: When the connected DAB Antenna needs power
supply from this unit.
• If the "DAB Antenna error." message is displayed on the unit, this
setting becomes invalid. For details on what to do if "DAB Antenna
error," is displayed, see "If this Message Appears".
Service Following - Related (soft link) Contents
On/Off
DAB Service following is the term applied to maintaining the same
audio or data content that the user has selected in varying reception
conditions when travelling by car. This feature can also be used
when you wish to recelve related (soft link) contents.

Touch [Menu].

Check the [Soft Link] box to turn the feature on.
• When Soft Link feature is turned off, only identical content (hard
link) will be received.
