6.7 Wear parts
1) When damaged or worn it is highly recommended
to replace the following items. These should
be inspected regularly and replaced as soon as
possible.
-
Tool
-
Tool bushing
-
Tool pins
-
Retainer pin, bushing pin
-
Accumulator and steering valve bolts
-
Hydraulic seals
-
Through bolts
-
Hydraulic hoses
-
Grease nipples/pump
2) We recommend that the user stocks these wearing
parts to minimise downtime.
3) Replace hydraulic seals every 600 hours of actual
operation.
4) Tool pin
-
When each tool pin is excessively deformed,
it is difficult to remove the tool. Therefore it is
advised to rotate the tool pin (IBEX 600 – IBEX
4000) every 100 to 150 hours of operation to
ensure an even wear. Only genuine tool pins
should be used.
-
When replacing wearing parts check each
for wear, breakage and so on. This can cause
increased wear to other parts within the
breaker.
