Rechargeable batteries Always hold the battery 14.4 V (10) upright when inserting it in the drive unitor the rapid charger. If inserted at an angle it can cause damage to the contacts and result in a short circuit which damages the battery. Total discharging by undervoltage The Li-Ion batteries may not drop below a minimum voltage because otherwise the battery could be damaged by “total discharge”.
