Rechargeable batteries Always hold the battery 14.4 V (10) upright when inserting it in the drive unitor the rapid charger. If inserted at an angle it can cause damage to the contacts and result in a short circuit which damages the battery. Total discharging by undervoltage The Li-Ion batteries may not drop below a minimum voltage because otherwise the battery could be damaged by “total discharge”.

Page 17 4.1. Inspection/repair Before any repair work, pull the mains plug or remove the battery! This work may only be performed by qualified personnel. The gearbox of the drive unit in the REMS Power-Press SE is maintenance-free. They operate in a permanent grease filling and therefore require no lubrication.
