Emergency release for fill-in door

If the fill-in door can no longer be opened (e.g. due to a defective door
release or power failure during the washing program), it can be opened
with the help of the emergency release.
1. If water can be seen at the window in the fill-in door, perform emer-

gency draining first (see "Perform Emergency Drain").
2. Turn the rotating knob anticlockwise with
the help of a coin or a screwdriver.
Fill-in door pops open.

Additional rinse cycles and/or wash-water cooling

The washing machine is adjusted for extremely economical water
usage.
• For those who suffer from allergies it may nevertheless be advan-
tageous to rinse with more water (2 additional rinse cycles).
• It may be necessary to cool the wash-water before it is pumped out,
in order to prevent damage to plastic drain pipes (wash-water coo-
ling).
Water usage and program running time are increased by additional

rinse cycles and/or wash-water cooling.
Additional Rinse Cycles
If this function is selected, 2 additional rinse cycles are run for the

t (COTTONS/LINEN), } (EASY-CARES) and à (DELICATES) pro-
grams.
No additional rinse cycles are selected upon delivery from the factory.
Select additional rinse cycles:
0 1. Turn program selector to F (SHORT SPIN).
2. Press and hold the q button (SOAKING) for at least 5 seconds.
