Understanding the Scratchpad

The Scratchpad allows you to make quick calculations and graphs
without affecting your current document. You can open a Scratchpad
document in the Calculator application or the Graph application.
You can open the Scratchpad application, do your calculation, and then
discard it or save the contents of the Scratchpad to the current document
or a new document.

The TI-Nspire™ handheld screen
The icons on the handheld screen allow you to view the status of system
operations and easily and access and change settings. This screen shows
the icons, which are described below.
