If desired, the programming menu can be split into two menus by assigning passwords:

a central
station menu (which contains all programming questions) and a subscriber
menu (which contains a subset of the central station menu).
If a password is assigned (for either menu), two menu selection prompts appear upon
entering programming mode:

Enter 1 or 2 depending on which menu is to be accessed, then enter the appropriate
password when prompted. The first programming question in that menu is then
displayed. See EXITING PROGRAM MODE paragraph later in this section for assigning
and changing r
swords.

reporting interval as follows:
Y = Short form: every 15 minutes (6-hour window for COM-FAIL
report)
N = Shott form: every hour (standard 24 hour reporting for
COM-FAIL)
