(See Figure 2.) FITTING THE HEDGE TRIMMER HEAD The hedge trimmer head (1) can be mounted directly into handle pole (2) so as to achieve the standard length.

    OPERATION INSTRUCTION W A R N I N G Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. W A R N I N G Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating power tools.

    MAINTENANCE CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE Your tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of mainte- nance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning. Your charger does not require any maintenance apart from regular cleaning. W A R N I N G Before performing any maintenance on the tool, remove the battery from the tool.
