FTP

An FTP server is typically found as feature of a network harddisk (NAS) and access to
data storage on external FTP servers can be purchases from many service providers.
Pictures storage upon motion detection can be selected in the Alarm menu and in the
Advance section of the Auto Capture menu.
The address of the FTP server is filled out as follows:
(1) Server Address: The IP address of the FTP server.
(2) Server port: The FTP port used by the server. (Typi-
cally set to 21).
(3) User name: Login username for the FTP server.
(4) Password: Login password for the FTP server.
(5) Path: Destinationfolder on the FTP server.
(6) Passive mode: Set as On or OFF depending on the
settings on the FTP server.
Fill out the 6 textboxes with information provided by
your FTP service supplier. Click Apply to save and
Test to test the settings.
If settings are set correctly and the FTP server is available, the message Test...Success
will be displayed.

Multiple Settings

Additional cameras can be
added here to enable multi device
streaming as mention in the User
Interface chapter. Click e.g. The
2nd device, fill out the param-
eters for camera #2 and click Add
followed by Submit.
If the cameras from a different
network are added, the remote
access addresses should be
used. Use the routers statis/fixed
IP address or the remote access
DDNS address found on the
camera followed by the assigned port.

PTZ Settings

The settins for pan/tilt camera scan be adjusted from here. The motionspeed can be
modified and users can select if they wish the camera to remain in centerposition after
reboot.

Device Information

The menu provided a quick overview of the camera's current settings – such as name,
connectiontype, network address, statis and availability of microSD card.

Menu for setting time/date and daylight savings.

Initialize

From the software the following maintenance features can be activated:
(1) Reboot Camera: Restarts the
camera.
(2) Restore Factory Default: Resets all
camera settings to default.
(3) Backup Settings Data: Save a copy
of the current camera settings, so
these can easily be restored at a
later time. Save the backup file on
your computer.
(4) Restore Settings Data: Menu to access the backupfile and restore the camera to the
saved settings.
(5) Firmware Upgrade: When SafeHome releases an update for the camera firmware, it is
available for download from the SafeHome webpage, and can be saved on the user's
harddisk. When the user wishes to update the camera, the menu Firmware Upgrade is
selected and the software must be found and selected from the browsersystem auto-
matically opened. When the user clicks the Confirm button, update is installed.

APP

For access and live video streaming by use of a SmartPhone/tablet, the SafeHomes APP
for SmartP2P cameras (L-Serie og M-Serie) can be used.
Download the APP SafeHome SmartP2P from AppStore® or Google Play® and install it
on your device. IPad users can install the iPhone APP.
Select Add Camera and click Scan QRCode or LAN Search, if the APP should search
your network for available and compatible cameras. If Scan QRCode is selected, the de-
vice's camera will open. Scan the QR code from the label found on the camera and enter
the camera username and password.
The APP can be used for adjusting brightness/contrast/resolution, record video and tak-
ing snapshots. In the Advanced Setting section e.g. email-/user-/alarmsettings can be
modified in the same ways as if modified thru the camera firmware.
