4. User Interface

Select Video View from the camera's login window to access the user interface. The
camera lens on some models can be adjusted by gently turning to sharpen focus, in case
the picture appears blurry. (only some indoor models).
1. Statusbar
A. Connection status.
B. Zoom in, zoom out, reset digital zoom.
C. Select destination folder for storage of snapshots and video.
D. Microphone. Click here to activate the computer microphone (if available). Click
again to deactivate.
E. Audio. Click here to activate the cameras microphone (if available). Click again to
deactivate.
2. Videostream
3. The videoquality is set in the modification settings in the camera menu Media > Video.
Moreover, the user can choose between multicamera display of 1, 4 and 9 frames.
(Only used when several cameras are connected).
4. Pan/Tilt/Zoo
Pan/Tilt models can be navigated from here. Furthermore, predefined positions of Pan/
Tilt models can be set here and navigated thru. Turn the camera to a desired preset
position, set the presetnumber at SET 2-8. The set position can now be accessed
by pressing CALL 2-8. Position 1 is automatically startposition for the camera upon
reboot.

5. Photo / Video / microSD / Playback
• Click the camera icon to take a snapshot.
• Click the movie icon to record a videosequence.
• Click the microSD icon to browse the files stored on the microSD card, if the camera
is equipped with such.
• Click the Play icon to access the recorded video sequences.
6. System Set accesses the camera menu.
7. Home Page accesses the camera login vindue.

5. Camera Settings (System Set)

Media

Video

System set of three quality levels. The resolution of the three levels are fixed, however
bit-/ and frame rate can be adjusted to establish the best possible quality for the camera.
• If the camera has lines/pixelerrors, try adjustning the Power Line Frequency from 50 >
60Hz.
• A heightened bitrate provides at clearer picture - but occupies more bandwidth.
• A heightened fps provides more fluent motion - but occupies more bandwidth.
• In the bottom of the menu, display of date/time/name can be set and cameraname can
be adjusted.
• JPEG Stream is used for streaming on some non-windows platforms. Examine the
quality by clicking Mobile View in the login window.

Audio

Indoor models have builtin microphone and support G.711 and G.726 audio quality.
Activate Audio Capture if sound should be recorded on the video sequences. G.711 is
better sound quality than G.726 but occupies more bandwidth. Outdoor models do not
have builtin microphone.

Image

Adjust the picture's brightness,
saturation and contrast.
Moreover, the camera's IR
night lights can be set to
automatic activation in dark
surroundings (Auto) or the
light can be set as always off
(Close).
In Night Mode the camera fps
will be decreased automati-
cally during night recordings to
increase the videoquality.
