Attach spring
housing
and counterweight
spring:
Add the spring housing
to
the
column
by
simply
inserting
it
into the
coÌumn
top,
as shown,
with
the
spring
ends
facing
the
front.
Reinsert the
pin,
being sure
that
it
goes through the loop
(B)
at
the spring
end.
Tighten the pin.
Attach the
counterweight
spring to the verticaÌ
car-
riage.
Remove
the pin (A)
by unscrewing
it
and
pulling
it
out.
Wind the verticaÌ
carriage
down
the
column,
until
it
is
at
an easily
accessible
height.
Unlock
the vertical
car-
riage, bring
it
all the way to
the top of the column,
and
lock
it
again.
Lock the
vertical
carriage in
position.
