Should the reservoir fluid level drop below normal the mutable alarm will
sound, the status relay will de-energize (if the chiller is equipped with the
communications package), an error message will be displayed and,
depending on the chiller's configuration, the chiller will continue to run or
shut down. The chiler is configured to run or shut down using the
controller's Setup/Tuning Loop in Chapter 2.
Refill the reservoir and, if necessary, restart the chiller.
NOTE The chiller will not start without any fluid in the reservoir
regardless of how it is configured.
Should the pump flow drop below 0.5 gpmthe mutable alarm will sound,
the status relay will de-energize (if the chiller is equipped with the
communications package), an error message will be displayed, and,
depending on the chiller's configuration, the chiller will continue to run or
shut down.
Once the cause of the low flow is identified and corrected restart the
chiller, if necessary.
The chiller is configured to run or shut down using the controller's Setup/
Tuning Loop, see Chapter 3.
