    Replacing the Charcoal Filter NOTE: The charcoal filter does not normally need to be replaced in the 35-3010A-09 because it does not include a CO sensor. Turn off or unplug power to the controller. Locate the charcoal filter. It is located along the upper edge of the detector housing.
