Items Required for Installation

Parts not included in Package:
Inlet shut off valve, 3/8 inch O.D. Tubing, and Mounting Screws.
Installation Location
For your convenience, the Hydrefiner II filter bracket assembly is
designed to be mounted on either side of the cabinet.

Installation Instructions

1. Install an Inlet Shut Off Valve (Not Supplied)
• Turn off the cold water supply and open the cold water faucet to
relieve any line pressure (see figure 1).
• Install an inlet shut off valve (not supplied) between the existing
cold water supply shut off valve and the kitchen faucet, in a way
that conforms to state and local plumbing codes (see figure 1).
2. Install Filters and Secure
• Remove the filter assembly from the packaging.
• Remove Sumps from INLET and OUTLET sides of the filter
assembly
• Wearing sterile gloves, remove the Sediment Filter* from the
packaging and push the filter into the INLET side cap
(see figure 2).
• Remove the Carbon Filter from the packaging and push the filter
into the OUTLET side of the filter assembly (see figure 2).
• Secure filter housings by hand tightening Counter Clockwise
(looking from top to the filter assembly (see figure 3)
