4a. Optionally, the Electric Winch can be mounted directly to a solid, flat steel assembly on
the vehicle specifically designed to accommodate an Electric Winch.
The vehicle's solid (3/8") steel assembly must be directly attached to the vehicle frame
to withstand the 9,000 pound capacity of the Electric Winch. Also, it must be able to
accommodate mounting the Fairlead to within 12 inches of the Winch cable output.
5. Attach the Mounting Brackets to Solenoid Assembly Bracket (27) as shown below.
6. Attach the Solenoid Assembly. Turn the Solenoid Assembly over and attach the rear
Mounting Bracket loops over the rear Tie Bar (8) as shown below, right. Place two
screws in the two front holes of the Mounting Brackets and screw in until tightened on
the front Tie Bar.
