Switching off the manual mute func-
tion
Briefly press the z button.

Turn the control knob k .
You will hear the audio source se-
lected before the mute function was
activated.

Automatic mute function

The car radio will automatically switch to
mute:
if an in-car system (e.g. hands-free
device, route planner, etc.) is in-
stalled
and if the system activates the mute
function via a connecting cable to
the radio.

In this operating mode, the car radio can
only be switched on or off.
