12 M AINTENANCE AN CLEANING
We recommend regular servicing by a SM EG aut horised service cent re at least once a year, t o guarant ee
opt imal performance at all t imes.
Consumables (e.g. perist alt ic pump hoses) and/ or part s subject t o w ear and t ear must be replaced w it h
genuine SM EG part s.
N.B.: t he manufact urer accept s no liabilit y for w ilful damage or damage deriving from carelessness,
neglect , failure t o comply w it h inst ruct ions, regulat ions and st andards or incorrect connect ions, w hich lead
t o forfeit ure of w arrant y cover.
The dishw asher has IPX4 prot ect ion, but t he use of direct w at er jet s for cleaning is forbidden .
Remove t he filt ers (simply lift t hem out as show n here), t aking care t hat
no large residues fall int o t he sump underneat h. Clean t hem t o remove
residues and rinse w it h plent y of w at er, t hen put t hem correct ly back in
place; do not use sharp or point ed t ools.
Clean aw ay any limescale deposit s t o prevent excessive build-ups;
If possible, leave t he hood or door ajar w hen not in use;
Clean surfaces t horoughly and oft en w it h a damp clot h; use neut ral,
non-abrasive det ergent s w hich do not use chlorine compounds, w hich
corrode and damage st ainless st eel.
Do not use t he product s ment ioned above even w hen cleaning t he floor underneat h or in t he vicinit y of t he
dishw asher, t o ensure t hat fumes or drops cannot damage t he st eel surfaces.
