Recently experiencing a very long, (minutes not seconds), delay before pump cuts in after turning on a tap. Turning power off and back on seems to work but even a delay there. Grundfos pump with model 2 controller.
A long delay before a Grundfos PM 2 pump cuts in after turning on a tap could be caused by DIP switch 5 being set to "ON" without a pressure tank installed. This setting causes the pump to start with a 1 bar differential pressure, leading to delayed start.
