Description
The 'J' Bolt refers to the long rod protruding below the lid ending in a
hook feature. The hook is for locating around the lower lip of bowl
back face. The hook is pulled tight onto lip to lock lid in place.
The Hygiene sleeve is the disposable polythene sleeve fitted to the 'J'
bolt to help prevent contamination on to lid parts.
The Nm (Newton Metre) is the International (SI) metric unit of
torque, used here for amount of tightening required for Lid Lock bolt.
The term 'End stop' is a mechanical means of preventing further
travel, used here to control the extents of 'J' bolt travel.
A/F referred to in this document is the nominal Across Flats
dimension of flats diametrically opposite on hexagon fixings & tools.
CW refers to Clockwise direction of rotation, used here to tighten the
Lock Bolt.
CCW refers to Anti-Clockwise direction of rotation, used here to
undo the Lock Bolt.
