An overflowing acid solution may corrode the ma-
chine.
Use battery chargers recommended by the manu-
facturer and, in any case, those that are suitable
for the type of battery to be charged.
Always charge batteries in well-ventilated rooms:
there is an explosion risk!
The use of gel or maintenance-free batteries is hi-
ghly recommended.
GEL batteries
Carry out maintenance operations in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions and with all
the other instructions provided in this manual.
Use only those battery chargers recommended by
the manufacturer.
7.7
THERMAL BREAKERS
The machine is equipped with electric protection
Remove and wash the squeegee
Drain the recovery tank
Drain, rinse with clean water or sanificate the
recovery tank
Charge the batteries
Check the acid level in the battery cells (if batte-
ries are not maintenance-free)
Remove brushes and check for brush wear, foreign
bodies and wrapped belts
Verify the machine general conditions.
Verify that suction hose and conduct are free
from obstructions
Check the wear of the squeegee rubber blades
Open and clean the solution water filter
Clean the brush plate, squeegee support and
squeegee
Check the lifting/lowering of the brush plate.
Check the lifting/lowering of the squeegee.
Grease the moving parts.
Check the control cable for the opening of the so-
lution water tap.
Verify the security devices ( emergency switch, me-
chanical or electromechanical brake, operator safety
switch, etc).
Descale water hoses.

avoid costly malfunctions.
Thermal breakers are installed to protect the drive
motor wherever foreseen and the brush motor.
When one of these breakers trips automatically,
the disabled function can be reactivated by fully
depressing the button of the breaker.
When the thermal breakers trip, especially when
the machine is used during the first few weeks, it
might not be caused by actual machine malfun-
ctions. However, a specialized technician should
check the device if the relative breaker continues
to trip.
