Insert the Micro SD Card: With the Camera facing you, face the Gold Metal Contacts of the SD Card to-
wards you and insert the Micro SD Card into the Card Slot. Do this before turning the device on.
To Charge the Device: Use the included USB Cable and plug the device into a computer's USB port or a
USB wall charger for at least 3 hours to acquire a full 2 hour battery life.
To Set the Date/Time: Follow the next steps for Powering On and Recording first so that the device will
write on the SD Card and create a File Folder for Recordings as well as a Time document. Now, with the de-
vice turned off, plug the camera into a computer and Open the Folder to View Files. Open the Time Docu-
ment and you'll see an old date and time already listed. Change the Date using Year/Month/Day format and
change the Time in 24-hr format 23:45:55. Save the file, and now new recordings will be Date/Time
stamped.
Power On Device: For a couple seconds, hold down the Power Button, which is located nearest the Mini
USB Port. The device will vibrate 1 time and a red light on the side will turn on and hold steady. This turns
the device on and puts it into Standby Mode, from which each Recording Mode can be activated.
Power Off Device: Hold down the Power Button for a couple seconds. The device will vibrate 2 times and
the red light will flash 2 times and disappear.
To Record Video: With the device in Standby, hold down the Play/Pause Button (located nearest the Cam-
era) for another couple seconds and the device will vibrate 2 times and the red light will flash 2 times before
disappearing and the device is now in Video Record Mode. Holding down the Play/Pause Button while the
camera is recording will end that recording and start a new one, giving the same 2 vibrations and 2 flashes of
the light. One quick click and release will put the device back into Standby mode.
To Snap a Photo: With the device in Standby, quickly click and release the Play/Pause Button. The device
will vibrate 1 time and flash 1 once and then hold steady, indicating it has taken a photo and has gone back to
Standby mode.
