3. ASSEMBLY
3.1
YK209F 20TON PRESS ASSEMBLY (use the exploded diagram (Fig.1) as a guide to assembly).
3.1.1
Attach one of the base sections (20) to the left side of the main frame (16) using bolts (21), washers (15), lock washers (14) and
nuts (13). Add two supports (22) to the post and base sections, using bolts (21), washers (15), lock washers (14) and nuts (13).
Repeat the operation for the right hand side.
3.1.2
Lifting from the upper cross beam, raise the press into an upright position.
WARNING! Ensure help is available and use slings and a suitable hoist or gantry to raise the press to an upright position.
3.1.3
Insert the bed frame pins (19) into the holes in each of the post, ensuring that they are level and then with the help of an assistant insert
the bed frame (18) into the press frame and rest on to the pins.
3.1.4
Attach the pump to the right hand post using bolts (11) and washers (12).
3.1.5
Attach the ram plate (11) to the crossbeam using bolts (10), spacers (9), large washers (8) and locking nuts (7).
check that the plate slides freely. Fix locking ring (6) to the ram (3) and screw into the ram plate (11) and secure using lock ring (15).
3.1.6
Attach the serrated saddle (5) to the ram and secure using grub screw (4).
3.1.7
connect the hydraulic hose (40) to the fitting (42) on ram (3) and assemble the pressure gauge (1) to the ram assembly.
