  • Page 3 At a Glance The magnocomp’s magDomus is a light and high flexible equipment that takes care and automates your home. The magDomus Home Controller checks and monitors status of all your electric devices and automatically controls every element according to your life style. If necessary, it even informs you of what is happening in your home.

Your device can be configured and operated through a locally attached computer keyboard. The connection to the Internet is not required to the basic operation of your equipment.

Accessing the configuration Web interface When connected to a network, the brand new magDomus device will try to obtain a valid IP address from the network using DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).

    ● Scheduler  ● Reboot device  ● User Manual  ● magnocomp Web Portal      Network Setup To configure the network connection select the option “Network” in the configuration application. The following network parameters can be defined: DHCP Use the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

    A local network should not include two magDomus devices with the same name. This name must start with a letter and the other characters can include letters or numeric characters. Spaces are not allowed. IP address The device IP (IPv4) address. This is not required when using DHCP. NetMask The network mask.

    After adjusting the parameters according to requirements, press the Save button to store the security parameters or the Discard button to leave parameters unchanged.. Date and Time Each magDomus device maintains a internal clock. This clock keeps running even when the device is switched off or unplugged from the main power.

    Control Panel The picture presents the screen layout for the magDomus control panel. In the left panel you can select a home automation unit to display and control. The right panel presents the state of the selected unit (when available) and allows its interactive control. Fig.
