Connecting the service terminal ST220 and putting it into operation

Before connection, make sure the DIP switch on the drives (solo/master/slave) is set correctly as otherwise the

data will not be able to be read and cannot be changed (refer also to the IQ windowdrives wiring diagram).
à Only the master can communicate with the ST220. If a slave is connected to the ST220, no text appears on the
display.
à The locking drives Power lock E 905 and E 906 must be connected to the device in connection with a chain
drive or spindle drive for the data to be read out.
à Drive settings via the service terminal ST220 can only be made when the drives are in their end positions.
à If drives are connected in a synchro-network, they must be connected to the service case in compliance with
the wiring diagram (see the wiring diagram IQ windowdrives 148327 for the circuit diagram).
Prepare the service case (1) (refer also to the service case documentation).

Connect the drive or synchro-network (14, 15, 16) using the enclosed connection cable (11) to the "WINDOW"
X
(8) connection of the service case.
Insert the power supply cable connector (13) into the service terminal ST220 and tighten both screws. Connect
X
the other end of the power supply cable to the field "ST220" (7) of the service case.
Set the "WINDOW OPEN" switch (4) to the central position.

Switch the "POWER 24V" switch (3) on.
X
The service terminal ST220 switches on automatically and the start screen appears automatically.
