    Gas requirements Provide adequate gas supply. This range is designed to operate at a pressure of 5 in (13 cm) of water column on natural gas or 10 in (25 cm) of water column on LP gas (propane or butane). Make sure you are supplying your range with the type of gas for which it is designed.

    Installation requirements The pressure regulator located at the inlet of the cooktop manifold must remain in the supply line regardless of whether natural or LP gas is being used. NOTE • The rangetop has its own regulator. Use only the provided regulator, which must be installed in the gas line that runs from the cooktop gas inlet to the gas shut-off valve.

Call the dealer, the gas supplier or a licensed electrician. • Before installing the range, you must locate and secure the anti-tip bracket to the floor. Unpacking the Range Unpack the parts box and verify that all required components have been provided.

The instructions include information necessary to complete the installation of the anti-tip bracket. Read and follow the instructions on the sheet and use the template for anti-tip bracket installation.

To check if the bracket is installed and engaged properly, remove the kick panel and look underneath the range to see that the leveling leg is engaged in the bracket.

    Final installation 1. Peel the protective coating off of the range, including the door. 2. Measure from the floor to the countertop. Adjust the leveling legs as required to position the trim around the cooktop even with or above the countertop.
  • Page 40 Installation instructions 7. Assemble the provided convection filters on the upper and lower fan holes. Determine the proper sides of the filter by locating the word ‘UP’ on the filter. Then, carefully hook the metal clips on the back of the filter over the metal bar across the fan hole.
