Section 3.2: Set Up the Weeder
1. Locate the weeder mandrel. It has with a "51" inside the gray mandrel handle and
copper contacts inside the notches in the gray handle. It is interchageable with the
take-up mandrel.
2. Place an empty 8.5" (21.6 cm) wide core on the mandrel. Push the core until it
touches the core stop. Tighten using the tension knob.
3. Set the weeder mandrel in the weeder location on the top of the MX-12e.
