SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Read the instructions for use carefully before using your appliance for the first time,
and follow them closely. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any use that
does not comply with the instructions.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not allow children to use the appliance unless supervised.
Check that the power voltage of your appliance is the same as that of your mains installation.
Any connection error will invalidate the guarantee.
This appliance has been designed solely for domestic use in the home.
Unplug your hand-mixer once you have finished using it and when you are cleaning it.
Never use your hand-mixer if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged. In this case,
contact an approved Krups service centre (see "Krups Service" booklet).
Switch off the appliance and unplug it before changing the accessories or touching the moving
parts in operation.
Any intervention other than cleaning and normal maintenance by the customer must be
carried out by an approved Krups service centre.
Never put the hand-mixer, the power cable or the plug into water or any other liquid.
Do not allow the power cable to hang down within the reach of children.
The power cable must never be close to or touching the hot parts of your hand-mixer, close
to a source of heat or a sharp edge.
If the power cord or the plug is damaged, do not use the appliance. To avoid any danger,
have them replaced by a Krups approved service centre (see "Krups Service Stations"
manual) or a similarly qualified person.
For your own safety, only use the accessories and spare parts from Krups which are suitable for
your hand-mixer.
