5 Operation

1) To prevent loud switching noise, first switch on the connected signal source.
2) Prior to the first switching on the subwoofer, turn down the SAT LEVEL and SUB LEVEL controls to the
left stop position to avoid a high volume at the beginning. Then switch on the subwoofer with the power
switch. The POWER indicator lights up.
3) Adjust the desired volume for the subwoofer with the SUB LEVEL control and for the satellite speakers
with the SAT LEVEL control. The LIMIT indicator lights up when the signal level is too high. The limiter
will reduce the signal level to protect the speakers. Reduce the volume until the LED does not light
anymore, or only at signal peaks.
4) It is possible to select various equalizer presets with the DSP PRESETS switch according to your
application: Flat = frequency response is not affected, DJ = increased presence and bass, LIVE = low
and high frequency boost.
5) After operation, set the SAT LEVEL and SUB LEVEL controls to the left stop position, then switch off the
subwoofer with the power switch. The power indicator goes out.

Setting up a Bluetooth connection with mobile devices

The subwoofer features a Bluetooth receiver allowing you to stream music wirelessly from your mobile
devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks.
1) Activate the Bluetooth receiver by depressing the Bluetooth switch. The status indicator lights up and the
unit will enter the pairing mode.
2) Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select "OMNITRONIC
MAXX-1508" from the list and connect the devices.
3) Now play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the sound will come out of the
speaker systems.
4) For decoupling the devices and thus switching off the Bluetooth receiver, unlock the Bluetooth button
again.
