The DAC-310 is not confined to axis positioning but can program parameters, related to other machine functions, as well. It is possible to program several steps which can be combined to a program.
Delem DAC-310 2.2. Display The DAC-310 has a monochrome LCD display, 128 x 64. The screen shows the following information: • on the left side, status information is showed, e.g. which step is active and/or which parameter • in the middle, values of parameters and position values re shown •...

Automatic mode • Semi-automatic mode. The DAC-310 can be programmed with 100 steps (0 - 99). You can browse through the steps by pressing the + and - keys. Manual mode is selected by moving to Step 0. Automatic mode is selected when a program has been entered and you move to the first step.
4.3.8). When the stock counter reaches zero in down counting mode the DAC-310 stops. The # value is displayed at the top of the display. The back gauge can be moved manually by pressing front keys. To do so, the control must be stopped (the LED of the stop button is lit).
Delem Now the axis can be moved by pressing the manual movement keys on the front panel. These keys are: + = slow speed in counting up direction - = slow speed in counting down direction X = high speed, must be pressed together with the + or - key.
The execution cycle of a step runs similar to the one in automatic mode. There are the following differences. • The DAC-310 stops at the end of each step. • A program is started at the step that is currently selected.
4.1. Introduction The DAC-310 is a programmable back gauge controller. The DAC-310 can also program parameters, related to other machine functions. One such set of parameters is referred to as a "step". Several steps can be combined to build a program. During the execution of the program the steps within the program are executed one after another in an automatic cycle.
Delem DAC-310 4.3. Programmable Parameters 4.3.1. General A parameter can be programmed upon selection. The selected parameter is indicated by a symbol. Selecting a parameter is done by pressing the arrow keys. The actual value of the selected parameter is displayed.
Delem Everytime a step is executed, the axis moves to the programmed position Xm. The actual position is shown by Xp. When the axis has reached position, Xp has the same value as Xm. Xp is then highlighted on the display.
Delem DAC-310 4.3.6. Function Outputs F There are two function (on/off) outputs: F1 and F2. The value of these two outputs can be programmed as one parameter. There are four combinations: Value Default: 00 (both off) A combination can be programmed with function F.
If in the down counting mode the value zero has been reached the DAC-310 stops and the cursor will automatically move to the #-symbol. The programmed value is reloaded if the start button is pressed.
Delem DAC-310 When programmed higher than zero, the remaining steps in the memory outside the program range are not accessible, but they remain in the memory. To access those steps, ST must be programmed back to 0. Note: the presence of this parameter depends on machine settings.

Delem • In manual mode all parameters can always be programmed, even if the switch is in the OFF-position. • In automatic mode, the stock counter # and the correction can still be programmed. V0504, 17...
Delem DAC-310 5. PROGRAM CONSTANTS 5.1. Selecting the program constants To enter the screen with program constants, browse to the M parameter and press ENTER. A screen with parameters appears. To return to the programming screen, press the Stop key.

Delem Actual pos .............. 03 You can program here the position at which the axis is currently located. When you think that Xp is not showing the correct position value, program here the correct position value. Make sure this position is correct.
