    1 General Description The ePAQ-9410 and ePAQ-9420 (ePAQ-94XX) Multifunction Gateways are part of the QEI family of Distribution Automation Products. They are housed in a 19 inch 3U rack-mount enclosure, and are intended for installation in harsh electrical utility sub-station environments.

    RS-422 data signals is up to 4 megabits/sec. Actual throughput will be less, depending on software load. There is termination of the receive end of each signal. These ports are only intended to be used as links between QEI products when sending high speed RS-422/RS-485 traffic.
