  • Page 54 Appendix Appendix 14.1 List of leak detection fluids for leak detectors The leak detection fluids listed have been tested by the German "Bundesan- stalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung" BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) and may be used for liquid-based leak detectors. They have been tested for their fungicidal effect and their compatibility with flammable liquids: fuel oil, diesel fuel and carburettor fuel.
