The part reference includes the following:
Hydraulic nut splitting head - Allen keys to replace the blades - Carrying case.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
2.1) Setting
Connect the head to a suitable pump (Ref. to Fig. 1); the head is supplied with an automatic, quick
fi t male coupler suitable for connection to a hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical pump from the
Cembre range.
2.2) Positioning
The head is suitable for splitting hexagonal and square nuts; position the head on the nut.
Incorrect positioning can cause blades and head damage.
Never use the head for slackening or tightening nuts.
2.3) Splitting
– Operate the pump to advance the blade and split the nut (Ref. to Fig. 2).
– Cease the pumping action when the split in the nut is visible and release the oil pressure (see
§ 2.4).
– The nut is now completly split and can be easily removed.
2.4) Retracting the blade
– Release the oil pressure from the pump and fully retract the blade.
Make sure that the ram is completely retracted before disconnecting the head from the
hose.

3. MAINTENANCE

The head is robust and requires very little daily maintenance.
