33. Fault Finding

Fault Indicator (flashing display)
To a certain extent the boiler will attempt to automatically overcome some of the faults
that occur.
For example, it will attempt 4 ignition sequences before going to lock out.
In situations where it has not been successful, the boiler will lock out and can only be re -
started by pressing the manual (Red) reset button.
When in lock out mode, the error is displayed in the LCD display as a flashing message.
The following list indicates the messages shown and the descriptions of the faults. The
numbers shown in the left hand column , suggest the possible cause.
By using the numbered lists attached, the cause of the fault can be quickly identified and
a repair effected.
