USER’S MANUAL. PE-455 4. MEASURING METHODS OPERATION CAUTION Observe all safety precautions when the FUNCTION switch is set to 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V position. Connect the meter test leads to the circuit under test before operating the TEST button. Do not touch the paper clip ends of the test leads while is carrying out a measurement. - Page 12 USER’S MANUAL. PE-455 − Press the TEST button. The value of insulation resistance in megohms will be displayed. CAUTION: Never turn the function dial while while a reading is being taken. This may damage the instrument. Never touch the circuit during insulation testing.
