    1. General Information 1.1 Intended uses The Soehnle Professional Terminal 3035 is a calibratable terminal for use in scales and weighing systems with commercially available DMS weighing and load cells. Up to three analog measurement locations (scales) can be internally connected at the same time.

    1.5 Product Warranty/liability When a defect in the delivered item is attributable to Soehnle Industrial Solutions, Soehnle Industrial Solutions is entitled at its discretion to either remedy the defect or to supply a replacement.

    1.6 Setup instructions Please inspect the packaging and terminal for external damage. Do not place a visibly damaged terminal into service, but inform your dealer instead. Please keep the packaging for any required shipping. The terminal was designed for rough commercial operations. It is nevertheless a sensitive measurement instrument whose performance can be influenced by unfavorable environmental conditions.

    These instructions apply for Germany. Compliance with national laws in other countries must be verified. The Terminal 3035 is approved within the EC for Class III and IIII operations with calibration mandate. This corresponds to the type rating described in the type certification and to the applicable specifications in Directives EC 2009/23/EC, 2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC and to EN 45501.

    2.5 On / Off switching Switch on: Press the ON/OFF key During startup, the boot routine displays the Soehnle Professional logo, and the detected measurement locations are briefly displayed. The scale is set to zero after the boot process. During startup, the last used application program is started by default.

    3.2 Program mode This is where the desired weighing application program is selected. The scale is ready for weighing after the application program has been selected and started. 3.3 Function keys The function keys F1 to F6 are available to execute functions. They perform various functions depending on the program and the situation.

    4. Setup mode Setup mode stores technical programming and weighing parameters that can be retrieved and fully customized. They are programmed by data entry or by selecting from default parameters. The individual parameters are stored in logical groups within a multi-level menu structure.     Up to three analog measurement locations can be installed, and a total of up to 29 measurement locations can be connected in the display unit 3035. A digital scale can also be connected with the RS 232 interface as measurement location No. 30. Switching between connected measurement locations is accomplished manually or automatically.

    5.13 Key locks Single, several, or all keypad keys can be locked. Lock keys Start Terminal / Keypad / Keypad Lock in setup mode. The display shows a schematic representation of the keypad. By pressing the key, the status of the key is switched from open to locked and vice-versa.

    5.14 User password As a way to prevent changes by unauthorized persons, access to setup mode and program selection can be locked by issuing a personalized password. Open Terminal / User Password in Setup Mode. • Select Enter/Edit; an alphanumeric password with a maximum length of 8 characters can be entered into the data entry field that then opens - save with F6.

    6.6 Totaling + picking Totaling means that the individual items are weighed sequentially. The weight is added to totaling memory and the load is removed from the scale after each individual weighing. Picking means that the weighed items are left on the scale. The weight is added in totaling memory and the scale returns to zero without the load being removed from the scale.

    6.6.2 Display screen After the first totaling transaction, the display switches from the basic screen to the totaling screen; prerequisite: the Information Field Display setting is set to the factory default. Tip: You can use the F3 key to start an additional secondary display, e.g. to additionally display the 10x higher resolution or the tare weight.

    6.6.5 Operating the addition function Press the Function Page key to start the Addition Function level Plus F6 Press the F6 Plus key to save the weight on the weighing bridge to the totaling memory. The item counter and the sequential number are incremented by 1. Prior to a new totaling transaction, the scale must be relieved by a minimum relief factor specified in setup mode.

    • Display, print, and delete total After pressing the Total function key, the totals are displayed for 3 seconds, and the memory contents are printed and deleted at the same time. A new totaling transaction can then be started. • Only display totals After pressing the Total function key, the user can decide whether to delete the totaling memory.

    6.7.3 Information field display What data is displayed in the information field is controlled in Setup Mode / Program Settings / Counting / Display Information Field.     6.7.5 Counting function The reference weight can be determined with the following function keys: • Function key F1 Ref 10 The reference weight is determined from a predefined reference count. Place 10 counted parts on the scale, press the F1 Ref 10 key. The scale then determines the reference weight and displays "10 pcs.".
