Insert the memory card into
the slot. Make sure the gold
contact area on the card is facing
downwards.
Formatting the memory
card
Your memory card may already be
formatted. If not, you must format it
before you can use it.
All files on your memory card
NOTE:
are deleted when it is formatted.

On your home screen, touch the
Applications tab
applications menu.

Scroll and touch Settings.
3 Scroll and touch SD card &
phone storage.

Touch Unmount SD Card and
touch OK to confirm it.

Touch Format SD card > Format
SD card > Erase everything .

If you set a pattern lock,enter it
and select Erase Everything.
The card will then be formatted
and ready to use.
If there is content on your

memory card, the folder structure
may be different after formatting, as
all files will have been deleted.
