MINIAERVANE

The typical PVmet-500 installation will come with the Miniaervane anemometer which provides the wind speed from 0 to 67m/s as
well as the wind vector in 16 cardinal directions. The Miniaervane uses RJ45 connectors on the main board and on the bottom of the
sensor as shown in Figure 12.

To install the Miniaervane remove the loosen the cap screw and remove the cap. Also remove the cable support plug in the top of the mast. Connect the RJ-45
connector to the sensor and slide the Miniaervane onto the mast making sure the slot on the base is aligned with the screw as shown in
Figure 13.

The screw is then tightened down without over tightening and the Miniaervane is installed as shown in Figure 14.
