Easyrig STABIL User Manual - rev.02 - 2019-04-30
Easyrig STABIL
Adjusting the tension
Adjust the tension on your Vario 5
to match the tension on the Easyrig
STABIL. If you have a Cinema 3 skip this
step.
Before adjusting the tension on your
Vario 5, make sure to lock the arm or
keep it at the lowest position with your
hand to avoid interference from the
Easyrig STABIL.
For further details please read the Vario
5 user manual.
Adjusting the tension
Increase the tension of the spring by turning
the knob clockwise. The knob will make a
clicking sound to indicate your new setting.
Decrease the tension by turning the knob
counter-clockwise. The Easyrig STABIL can
take weights between 5-25 kg (11-55 lbs).
The Easyrig STABIL is adjusted correctly if
the arm is resting between the lowest and
highest position.
Adjusting the slider
Place the camera hook in front of the
upper arm (1). Adjust the slider (2) to
preferred location and lock it tight. When
the slider is in position, gently put back
the camera hook.
The Easyrig STABIL has ball bearings
in the back of the arm, enabling smooth
lateral movement from left to right. This
smooth lateral movement together with
the spring (up and down) will make your
shots steadier.
