3 General Product Information 3.1 How Reverse Osmosis Works in PROGUARD Coffee PROGUARD Coffee uses the mains water pressure to force water molecules through a semi-permeable membrane. The concentrate of PROGUARD Coffee with its concentrated amount of scale, gypsum, sodium chloride and sodium sulphate will be released to the drain. The permeate however is nearly free of ions and molecules other than water and carbon dioxide.
