Operation

This section shall provide you with an overview of the operation of the IR-CTRL and the associated
components. The necessary detail information can be taken from the following sections which inclu-
de information sheets and sample programs.

3.1 Connection of components

The IR-CTRL is ready for operation, after it is connected over the interface with the control computer
and plugged into a power supply.

· Connect the SDA and SCL interface lines to the control computer.
If the control computer is a component of the C-Control series, the the violet line (SDA) must be
connected to Port 1 and the pink line (SCL) to Port 2.

4 SCL pink
· Connect the IR-RMT to the power supply.
Caution: It is important to ensure right polarity of connections!
Incorrect polarity can result in the destruction of the sensor.
