Button Description
1 MUTING Press to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL + to unmute.
2 TV/VIDEO Press to cycle through the video equipment connected to your TV's
video inputs.
3 FUNCTION The FUNCTION button indicator lights up momentarily when
pressed to show which external equipment the remote control is

operating. When the remote control is set to operate the external
equipment, these buttons will operate the equipment you choose.
You must first press one of these FUNCTION buttons to operate
the corresponding equipment. For details, see "Programming the
Remote Control" on page 44.
4 0-9, ENT Press 0-9 to select a channel: the channel changes after 2 seconds.
Press ENT to change channels immediately.

6 JUMP Press to jump back and forth between two channels. The TV
alternates between the current channel and the last channel that was
selected.
7 ANT
Press to change between the VHF/UHF input and the CABLE
input.
8 SOUND Press to cycle through different sound settings: Dynamic for
enhance treble and bass, Standard for spoken dialog and Custom
for flat setting.
9 PICTURE
Press repeatedly to cycle through the available video picture
modes: Vivid, Standard, Custom. The video picture modes can be
also accessed in the Video settings. For details, see "Selecting
Video Options" on page 71.
0 GUIDE
Press to display the TV's program guide.
qa RETURN
Press to return to normal viewing.
qs DVD/VCR When FUNCTION is switched on DVR or DVD/VCR, these
buttons operate the video equipment you have programmed into the
