Setting to RX1290 mode causes the unit to respond to a subset of the RX1290’s MIBs rather than the standard full RX8000 MIBs.     MediaKind’s Director Over-Air Control (OAC) system is available either as a standard feature or as an option on all of the RX8000 range IRDs, except for the RX8320 and RX8330C.
