EXTENSION CORD SAFETY:
1. T

tection against shock hazard and should be plugged directly
into a properly grounded receptacle.
2. Use only outdoor type cord with a grounded plug and suitable
GB
for use with outdoor appliances.

connect 2 or more extension cords together.

USE:
1. Balance food on spit rod between meat forks. Check
balance by holding loaded spit rod loosely in hands and
rotating. Adjust as needed.
2. Ideally, remove the handle from the rotisserie rod during
cooking. This will prevent the handle from getting hot.
3. Place loaded spit rod into motor. Adjust collars so they rest
snugly against spit rod brackets. Tighten thumb screw.
4. Heat grill and cook according to suggestions in Cooking
Tips.
5. If food becomes unbalanced during cooking, use gloves or
mittens to remove loaded spit rod and adjust. A cooking
cord may be tied as needed to secure the food.
6. When food is done, remove spit rod from motor, remove
meat fork on motor side and slide food off spit rod.
7. Do not expose electric motor to grill settings above medi-
um. Damage to internal motor components may result.
8. Always wear protective gloves when handling the spit rod.

COOKING TIPS:

1. When buying a roast, look for uniform-shaped cuts of meat
to ensure even roasting.
2. To reduce cooking time and ease handling of poultry, cook
two smaller birds at once instead of one large bird. Place
birds together, legs to shoulders, for compactness and
balance.
3. Wrap aluminum foil around wing tips and ends of legs to
avoid charring and burning.
4. Apply marinades and sauces with a long handled basting
brush frequently.
CLEANING:
1. Allow all metal parts to cool before cleaning. Wash with
a mild dish soap and plastic bristle brush. Towel dry and
store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
2 . NOTE: All metal parts are dishwasher safe EXCEPT motor.
3. Motor should be removed from grill when not in use. Store
in a cool dry place.
