6. PAD/AFT
PAD/AFT Check
Calibration of dynamic pads A1 through A8 and aftertouch is carried out
automatically.
* Never touch the unit while CALIBRATION is displayed.
1.
When A-1 appears, slowly press A1 inward, and verify that the displayed
value changes from 0 to 127.
2.
Verify A2 through A8 in the same way.
3.
When AFT appears, press the highest-pitch key on the keyboard, and
verify that the displayed value changes from 0 to 127.
Execution automatically advances to the next test.
7. BENDER
BENDER Check
1.
Move the pitch bender all the way to the left and right, then stop at the
center.
2.
Verify that OK is displayed.
3.
When MOD appears, move the lever all the way toward the back, then
return it to its original position.
4.
Verify that OK is displayed.
Execution automatically advances to the next test.
8. MIDI/USB
MIDI/USB Check
1.
Disconnect the MIDI sound module, and use the MIDI cable to connect
the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT connectors on the unit.
If OK appears, execution automatically advances to the next item.
* If NG ("not OK") appears, press SHIFT to go back to TEST MENU, then enter
this test item again.
2.
Using the USB cable, connect the USB connector on the unit to a USB
connector on the computer.
If OK appears, execution automatically advances to the next test.
* If NG ("not OK") appears, press SHIFT to go back to TEST MENU, then enter
this test item again.
9. INITIALIZE
Test Rest
If any uncompleted test items remain, the numbers for the items are displayed.
Press SHIFT to go back to TEST MENU, then complete the unexecuted tests.
When all test items have been completed, execution automatically advances to
INITIALIZE.
INITIALIZE
1.
Press the button from L1 to L9 that is displayed on the LCD screen.
2.
When the message Sure? appears, press the VALUE control.
The message INITIALIZING NOW appears, and initialization starts.
After several seconds, OK ALL TEST Complete
initialization ends.
3.
Switch off the power.
* No operation is possible until the power has been reset.
10. Operation Via USB Bus Power

Set the POWER switch to OFF to switch off the power, then detach the
AC adaptor and set the POWER switch to USB.
Verify that the unit starts and the initial screen appears, then switch off
the power.
