PROBLEM
Clear eggs. There are no

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Non-fecundated eggs due to too many
or too few cockerels, old or infertile.
Egg storage was too long before
incubation.
The temperature in the egg storage
room was too high or low.
Inadequate egg care before incubation.
Low egg collection frequency
Breeders are inbred
Old eggs
Aged breeders
Nutritional deficiencies
Eggs have travelled long distances.
Incorrect humidity during incubation.
The incubator has been opened several
times during hatching.
The incubator has been operating in
excessively hot or cold premises
Bacterial contamination (dirty egg, dirty
incubator)
Other causes
The eggs are dirty
Incorrect humidity during incubation.
Inbred breeders
The incubator has been operating in
premises with temperature below 20°C
SUGGESTION
Only use young, zestful and unrelated
cocks and not exceeding 3 years of age
Do not store the eggs longer than 7 days.
Ensure the temperature in the egg
storage room is between 14°C and 18°C.
Check proper egg storage.
Collect the eggs more often throughout
the day.
The breeders must not be related
(the cock MUST NOT be the hen's
brother)
Store the eggs for 7 days at most.
The breeders must not be older than 3
years.
Feed breeders with adequate feed (use
breeding feed)
Incubate local eggs.
Comply with the information provided
on filling the water trays.
Open once a day at most to remove
properly dry hatchlings.
Ensure the room temperature is
between 20°C and 25°C.
Remove scale from the bottom and
disinfect the incubator before use.
Ensure the eggs are properly clean.
