ChannelFree™ signal processing is the core technology for all instruments and varying levels of binaural coordination, features and wireless connectivity are available.     BernaFOn veras Veras ITE models For Veras ITCD models, insert the battery pill with the red indicator pointing to the + sign and close the battery drawer. For Veras CIC and ITC models, use the Flex Connect strip. Insert a fresh battery. Open the battery drawer slightly.
  • Page 14 Connection Connection bar The connection bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to see at a glance if your instruments are connected. If an instrument has a low battery you will see a visual indication on the screen. The Hi-Pro/NOAHlink bar in the center is active when the software is performing an action in the instruments.
  • Page 15 BernaFOn veras Client Personal data Review the client’s Personal data to make sure it is correct. Please change the Client Experience Level to reflect your client’s actual hearing instru- ment experience. You will also find a choice of fitting rationales.
  • Page 16 Instrument view This screen shows a summary of the instruments you are fitting including serial number, acoustics and accessories that have been paired to the instruments. Acoustics Oasis will recommend acoustics based on the hearing loss. If you wish to modify the choices, you may do so in the Acoustics screen.
  • Page 17 BernaFOn veras Program assignment If you have completed the Lifestyle Profile, the programs chosen for the client will be displayed. In this screen you may change or add programs as desired. The Live Music Plus program for Veras 9 models can be found here.
  • Page 18 Environment Optimizer (Veras 9 and Veras 7 models) The Environment Optimizer allows you to select a listening environment in the Multi-environment program for special enhancement. The setting op- tions can be found under the Features screen for the Multi-environment program.
  • Page 19 The data logging in Veras records a wealth of operational statistics including program usage, listening environments, user adjustments and feedback monitoring, a feature unique to Bernafon products. Click on the appropriate button to view the logged data. Note that the instruments must be worn a minimum of 8 hours before statistics are available.

The Controls tab includes on-screen instructions to help you pair Veras to either the SoundGate or RC-P remote control. You will also find syn- chronization of controls, volume control range and Smart VC options here.
