Language Settings
(Language)
You can make language settings.
OSD Language
Switches the display language on the screen.
DVD Menu (DVD VIDEO only)
Switches the language for the DVD menu.
DVD Audio (DVD VIDEO only)
Switches the language of the sound track.
When you select "Original," the language
given priority in the disc is selected.
DVD Subtitle (DVD VIDEO only)
Switches the language of the subtitles
recorded on the disc.
When you select "Audio Follow," the
subtitle language changes according to the
language you selected for the sound track.

Selects main and sub audio, subtitle, or
teletext language for multilingual
programmes.
When the language set in "D.TV
Audio(Primary)"/"D.TV
Subtitle(Primary)"/"D.TV
Teletext(Primary)" is not available, the
language that is set in "D.TV
Audio(Secondary)"/"D.TV
Subtitle(Secondary)"/"D.TV
Teletext(Secondary)" will be selected.
• When you select "OSD Follow," the
language that is set in "OSD Language"
will be selected.
• When you select "Audio Follow," the
subtitle language changes according to the
language you selected for the sound track.

If you select "Others" in "DVD Menu," "DVD
Audio," or "DVD Subtitle," press
language code from "Language Code List" on
page 111.
